Welcome to the centre for news and information surrounding the Valley Sports and Events Centre. We are in our seventh  year of operation and have many exciting programs running over the winter months.

Registration for Tier 2 youth leagues

Starting the week of Jan 13 and running for a 10 game schedule ( complete with play-off round ), the VDSA will offer indoor league play in the following youth age groups. ( games are 1 hour and will be slotted into the times beside the age group )

U-13 Male-------------Mondays 5-7 pm
U-13 Females----------Fridays 5-7 pm
U-16  female----------Mondays 7-9 pm
U-17 male-------------Saturdays 3-9 pm
U-19  female----------Saturdays 3-9 pm

Birthday Parties

Looking for that “away from home“ spot to hold a birthday party. We offer field rental for 1 hour plus a room to hold an eats and cake party after time on the field. Call Dwight for pricing details.

Day time Rec League Soccer..........

Drop in during the week---Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 11 am till 1 pm to play some recreation soccer. Only $ 5.00 per session. Great exercise and great way to meet up with old friends and make new friends.

Walking Club - Starts end of October

The walking club now meets 5 days of the week for an hour  each  A great way to get out of the house during the winter months and get in that deserved exercise and social networking. Times as follows—

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays------10-11 am---free of charge
Tuesdays, Thursdays-------------------10-11 am-----$ 2.00

Storm Closures

The indoor facility will not necessarily close due to school closures. The management will make decisions on storm closures based on weather warnings, road conditions, etc. on a need be basis. The safety of its clients and staff will remain a large part of the decision to close the building.

Should the building close due to inclement weather, notice of such will appear as a banner over the building pic on the Web page, local radio will advertise closures, and the phone message will reflect closures.
